I have been really into the TB12 method lately! The TB12 method is Tom Brady’s personal philosophy for achieve peak athletic performance. He covers all critical training elements such as diet, exercise, recovery and much more. The image above shows my TB12 daily progress board that hangs on my kitchen wall.
I have been exposed to many different training philosophies over the 15+ years I’ve been playing lacrosse. I have seen my most consistent results when I am following the TB12 method. To be more specific, the most notable results have been associated with body composition, diet, and injury prevention. The TB12 method helps me achieve my optimal body composition throughout the different phases of my training (off-season, pre-season, in-season).
From a strength and conditioning perspective I sometimes deviate from the TB12 method as I have NLL team specific training programs to follow in the offseason. But as Tom Brady says in his book there is some necessary tailoring you will need to do in order to make the TB12 method align with your athletic performance goals.
If you’re interested in trying the TB12 method yourself here is the link to the book.
FYI, Tom Brady is a true lax dad too...
